These 20 Industrial parks were the first to receive this honor since it was created in 1999. Castro del Rio was one of the industrial parks to receive this certification.

During the quarterly meeting for the Mexican Association of Industrial Parks (AMPIP), Bruno Ferrari, Secretary of Economy, said that these certifications help strengthen the Mexico manufacturing sector. AMPIP strives to promote industrial parks, attract foreign investment and those companies interested in manufacturing in Mexico.
